If Romney's drawing 35K and Obama's drawing 5K at their respective rallies in Ohio, then these turnouts needs to be weighted based on the turnout ratios of McCain vs. Obama in 2008 (just like they do with the polls).

So basically, with regard to Ohio rally turnouts, since Romney x McCain is roughly equal to Obama 2012 x Obama 2008, we can see that Ohio is too close to call (major sarcasm alert, which shouldn't be needed, but have been wrong before).

The Romney rally in Milwaukee was bigger than expected as well. When I got there, the line was easily a 1/4 mile long, maybe longer.

They filled the building and more than 1000 people listened to the event in an outdoor amphitheater in 30 degree weather.

One good thing, Romney and Gov. Walker went out and talked to the overflow people after the main rally was over.

Yesterday, Bill Clinton drew about 700 people on a college campus and there was very little enthusiasm. Wisconsin is in play. The blue fist crowd may give Obama a victory, but I am more confident than I was.
