There are plenty of socons around here, true, but if there isn’t room for independent, grass-roots conservatism of the fiscon variety, JimRob ought to fix the masthead.

So are you a fiscon who is anti-socon? No, I am not anti socon. My issue with you is that you seem to think that socon issues trump fiscon issues, and they do not. I am pro-winning. Socons often don't seem to care about winning, just self-defeating trumpeting. My issue with socons, if I have one at all, is that pushing socon issues ahead of fiscon issues means that we can't get anywhere on either front. You can't win anything if you are dead. I think that we cannot influence policy unless we can win. And there is no way to win on socon issues if as a nation we are being killed at the hands of the statists. I'm here trying to preserve our Republic for my kids and grandkids. What are YOU doing here?
