There are persons in this world that bitterly cling to their definition of Assault Rifle like it were their Bible.
The term coined by Hitler is Diane Feinstein, Chuckie Schmuckers and the Left’s mantra.
Certainly the Flintlock Musket and the “Kentucky Rifle” of the American Revolution were the “Assault Weapons” of their day. So was Mauser, Enfield SMLE, and the Springfield of WWI. Technology progresses that doesn’t mean that there should be controls on what is an “Assault Weapon”. Fully automatic weapons have been banned since 1934 in America. No weapons with selective fire are sold across the counter of any Gun Shop without the specific permission of the BATFE.
The "assault weapon" mantra is a joke...and most rational, logical people know that.
But the LeftistMarxistSocialistPolitical Democrats are ramming this home...talking to the feel good low wattage among us. Period.
It WON'T stop until ALL guns are outlawed. That's their endgame. OBAMA himself...has said as much.
