people who own rifles don’t call them assault rifles.
i call them my self defense rifle, or my protection from big brother rifle.
Mine goes to the range every few weeks, gets a cleaning worthy of a fine tool and otherwise sits in the corner. It's never assaulted a thing.
I only have pistols in case I need to defend my rifle.
