Many conservatives in Missouri could not bring themselves to vote for Akin because of what he said. I screamed and shouted another term for Mother McCaskill would guarantee a vote for Obi's next attempt to ban guns. And this was before the school shooting in CT.

Now we have Ma clip-clopping down the Senate corridors mouthing the need for "...assault weapons ban renewal."

We have no one to blame but ourselves...

The Missouri GOP top dogs should have your wrath. They could have stopped Akin but were insular, overconfident and thought they were going to win big across the board. Republicans everywhere want to talk finance and economics while the 47 percenters and low info voters just want to have fun and couldn’t care less about the financial concerns of the rich. Dwelling on economic responsibility is a losing argument.
