That’s why I said “some,” not “all.”

I have all the ESPN channels, plus assorted pro and college sports channels. I even have channels that show high school sports. There are times I can watch the same sporting event on 2 or 3 different channels. Way too much coverage, IMHO.

It’s really funny when some channels have no real sporting events, so they cover things like tiddly winks. Many of them cover poker games. Poker is a fine game, but it’s hardly a sport. Have you seen a poker player run, throw or bat? I haven’t.

In the NYC metro area, one of the biggest sports channels is MSG (the Madison Square Garden network.) They have all the Knick and Ranger games, plus lots of college hoops, football and baseball from venues around the NYC area.

I was looking for sports the other day and they were airing a "Poetry Slam."

Competitive poeming, complete with a snapping crowd.
