Why would you feel more secure?...You stated you had no means to protect you or your family.....Do you really think there will be civility there when SHTF?....I’d feel more secure surrounded by like minded people who are armed and willing to take a stand for themselves.....

There is no such thing as total security anywhere in the world. The political environment can change on a dime.
When I was last in America, I would have laughed like crazy
if someone suggested that a black Communist Kenyan would become POTUS.
I left the US at that time as a personal choice, not political.
I am now very thankful that I did.
I feel secure only in that I am free to go where I want and tailor my life to whatever country I am in.
My American heritage, as a grand grand grand nephew of Uncle Sam, goes pretty deep. I am a TRADITIONAL American.
As I have said before, I did not leave America. America left me.
One more point:
All the crap on here about stocking up on guns and ammo is nothing more then whistling in one’s britches.
When the country falls, they will be as useless as teats on a boar.
