You are rather thick. I have said four times now I will retire on my money, not Uncle Sam’s. For you and your friends in Rio Linda, that means I will not accept Social Security.

Now, your turn: do you receive Social Security? Will you refuse SS in the future? If not, you are a hypocritical leech.

I called your initial post idiotic and it is.

As a young, shallow guy, you want to go to people who have been paying up to 15% of their income for 50 or 55 years into a fund, and tell them they are hypocrites if now that they are in their 60s, and having been forced to give up all that investment income for their entire lives, don’t now refuse it just as they are at the point to collect some of it.

No wonder the idiots of your age vote democrat while our age votes republican, you guys don’t think very well, but man do you have arrogance and ego to spare.

You should be happy that young true conservatives like myself exist. You may not agree with Tea Party conservatives, but if enough if us get together, we could end up saving the Republic.

Nobody held a gun to your head and told you not to plan for your own future.

You support ending Social Security, while collecting it at the same time?

The intellectual purity of your position is breathtaking.

LOL, no your nonsense is breathtaking.

Someone can support phasing out a pension program, but not support forcing you to pay into it for your entire 50 year work life, and then just as you are ready to collect your first check, telling to you to refuse it, and just forget 50 years of 15% and let the government keep it all.

You are very breezy about saying that you are willing to do that, since you are 40 years away from actually doing so.

If this is your strategy to reform SS, by telling people at the end of 50 years to just let the government keep it all, then it is not very bright.

There is no intelligence to your weirdness.

...and your refusal to acknowledge the economic position we are in is idiotic. America. Is. Out. Of. Money.

Your 15% is, regrettably, gone. Sorry about that. Better luck next time.

None of that made sense, I don’t refuse acknowledging America’s economic position, and my 15% is still owed to me, and I expect to collect when I start receiving some of what I have been sending in.

If you have any interest in Social Security, then you need to start thinking on it, rather than making bizarre claims and telling people who are already collecting it, or close to it, that “”you have no right to recover your contributions to Social Security. “”

How is that a political strategy, or a plan, or useful in any conceivable way?

Your 15% is not owed to you, and you have no right to recover any of the funds you have paid in. You may think you do, but the Supreme Court ruled otherwise, in Flemming vs. Nestor.

Any plan to restore America to solvency must necessarily include elimination of Social Security, along with other entitlements: EBT, SNAP, EITC, Medicare, and Medicaid, to name a few.

Well, evidently your interest is in attacking people who are on SS, rather than doing anything about it.

Listening to a young insulting ding bat like you makes me eager to start collecting it, you make it hard for people who will be dead in a few years to care about you, and your distant future.
