Shoes of the Fisherman is free with Amazon Prime.
Amazon Prime works well for us. Our obsession is British mysteries like Midsomer Murders and Poirot. Roku gives us good quality. We just upgraded to 40 Mbps which makes a lot of difference.
For those who don’t have Amazon Prime, I think we could both give them a little advert.
Sure, $80/yr sounds like a lot of dough. But, this is what you get. First off, you get free, unlimited streaming of movies (such as Shoes of the Fisherman) upon demand. But, while this is neat and a pretty good deal (~$7/month); the best part is that you get free 2nd day shipping on ANYTHING you buy, no dollar limit. Need a just 1 new pen? Order it for cheaper than Walmart, and have it delivered to your doorstep in 2 days free.
I buy all kinds of stuff, the other day I got 88 oz of Steel Cut oats for $12 delivered. That was 4 sealed 22 oz bags of steel cut oats for about what I pay for a single metal can of steel cut oats at the store. I got about the equivalent of 4 cans, delivered to my door for the price of 1 can at the store.
