False - there may have been a few voluntary turn-overs - many were not.

Many confiscations gave no receipt for the firearms.

The NRA won a court case over the city of New Orleans on this very subject. It is in the public record.

Your assertion that these confiscations were all voluntary (save the one episode seen by many on tape) is laughable.

Do you really expect posters on FR to believe that tripe?
