I’ve been in the military for 24 years now and I retire in the next couple months. I’ve posed this question to quite a few others and asked what they would do. I received the following responses:

1. Hell no.
2. I’d leave.
3. Some expressed disbelief it would ever happen.
4. Very few said they would but expressed their dissatisfaction with it.

All the senior NCO’s I asked said they would refuse. About 90% of the officers I asked said it would be unConstitutional with the other 10% being lower ranking officers who go along.

Sadly too many of the younger Soldiers took the oath to support and defend the Constitution but don’t know what is in it.
