We have a tendecy to put a great deal of faith in our guns, our preps, etc, while not putting enough faith in God. BUT, striving to increase our faith in God (a thing we all must try at every single day) does not mean that we should be disarmed. To the contrary, God commands us to be armed ("If you don't have a sword, sell your cloak and buy one.") We can acknowledge that we must always try to increase our faith in God, while simultaneously using and giving thanks for the tools God has given us.
If the poster is, indeed, calling for disarmament, then s/he is grossly misinformed, and totally disconnected from reality. The old example of the person in distress crying out 'God, why didn't you help me,' and God facepalming as he points out all the tools He had provided, would apply.

Speak for yourself, not the rest of us - my relationship with God is individual.

No. I am calling for people to trust the LORD in that we ...
1) humble ourselves before Jesus
2) confess our sins
3) stop sinning
4) pray for others
5) goto 4 until nation healed
2 Chronicles 7:14 says
1) we repent
2) God heals
We’re trying to do #2 with politics, guns, debates, when #2 is God’s job.
#1 is our job.
