I left the NE in 95. Happily in AZ (and a stint in Vegas) since. Liberalism destroyed my hometown industries (logging and related).
I left in 93. Came back in 06 because my parents stayed and ended up needing help due to medical conditions. They’ve since passed on, but now I am kind of stuck with property and a still sluggish real estate climate.
And our stupid state (Conn) elected an idiot governor who decided to raise taxes on everyone and protect his union buddies. We’re already bleeding jobs, this is just going to be a high-profile loss for the state. Rightly in my opinion.
