Her brother is the mayor of New Orleans. While it may not exert the same influence that it did pre-Katrina, there's no way that you'll convince me that there won't be any voter fraud coming out of that cesspool.
Might help her in N.O. but the fact that Mitch is no longer Lt. Governor but only may of one city....not much to be gained there. The Landrieus were always more popular in N.O. than elsewhere in the state. She’s done a LOT to anger those from Louisiana. (Notice she hasn’t come out in favor of gay marriage....)
Her brother Mitch would have beat Nagin had Nagin and the NAACP not bussed in and in other ways brought in all the Katrina refugees.
