“Excuse my possible ignorance, but what firearm utilizes 7.69 x 39? Im curious.”
SKS rifle.
I’m not an expert, but every thing I read says SKS utilizes 7.62 x 39. Where am I going wrong?
The 7.62 X 39mm is the standard Soviet / Warsaw pact small arms round for both the Siminov Carbine (SKS - tactically obsolete) and the AK-47 and most of it’s variations.
The Czech VZ-58 which looks a lot like an AK but is designed differently also chambers the 7.62X39.
It’s standard for the Chicoms, Norks, Cubans, most of the Islamic regimes and terrorist organizations, as well as various 3rd world banana republics.
Most of the people in the World who want to shoot Americans would use 7.62 X 39mm to shoot us with.
Since the Dept. on InJustice issued all of those AKs to the Mexican drug cartels, perhaps they want to refresh their ammo supplies. Wouldn’t be surprised if they intend to invite them to come up North to help with the reconquestadore when the regime decides that it’s time to crush those annoying “bitter clingers” who insist on resisting the NWO.
No the SKS uses the same round as the AK-47, the 7.62x39. Some order clerk made a typo, that's all.
