Let me just say this: I read every day that many on our side use McCain as the anti-weather vane...if McCain says he’s for it or against it, they go the opposite way. McCain called for a special, select committee, so they are worried it means that would be a mistake.
Broaden your point of view, people. Mark Levin and others are saying this is imperative. McCain and his motives are suspect, but this isn’t about him. Even a broken clock or someone who’s off his nut is occasionally right - law of averages and all that.
Levin has taken to saying that Boehner is second only to Obama in impeding the truth being found and publicized. Because Boehner is blocking this.
Levin is LIVID over that.
Take that as a valid indicator.
Something certainly doesn’t smell right on these committee chairs opposing a select committee. Other than protecting their hides (if that’s what they’re doing), what would it hurt?
