Absent during a crisis is a sign of a very weak insecure person. Never able to make a decision and desperate to be free from blame. Definitely not fit to be President.

I recall a story during the early days of his first term where it was reported that he “relished” taking on the “tough” issues like gay rights, healthcare reform and immigration because he either thought he was, or wanted to be perceived as, a “ brave trailblazer” who wasn’t afraid to take on the tough issues.

I think something that would really be effective in getting under his skin is a relentless drumbeat of being called a coward.

This is all part of the self-preservation strategy of Obozo. The Slickster used triangulation. Soetoro uses a variation of the Sgt Schultz "I know nuttinck" tactic by disappearing during the crisis and then by using "news dilution" (get as many scandals going as possible to confuse an already dazed mainstream media) making it very difficult to focus effectively on any single crisis like they did on Watergate.
