"Barack just never around when bad things happen"

“I think that I’m a better speechwriter than my speechwriters. I know more about policies on any particular issue than my policy directors. And I’ll tell you right now that I’m gonna think I’m a better political director than my political director.” - Barack Obama, 2007, as quoted by Patrick Gaspard

Yet the day-to-day functioning of the whole apparatus of his administration seems to escape his attention.

"Barack just never around when bad things happen"

And the converse.....

Whenever Obama is not present ...then bad things happen (to the rest of America 24/7)

“Love you in the sunshine, hate you in the rain.
But when trouble comes around, it always seems to rain.”

Not my job, man. Way above my pay grade.

OK, so whose job IS it? And what pay grade would induce you to take over the duties?

Yes, 0bama does every job better than anyone else. Unfortunately he is the
pResident so there is no one in that job for him to feel superior to.
