I think they should consider Impeaching this federal judge. It is his job to make sure the government follows the constitution and protects the interests of the people.
Having an overzealous law enforcement agency kept in check is precisely his function in this case.
He has had a number of cases where he has made questionable decisions, but this one shows that he is just a rubber stamp for the government.
