Tomorrow the jury will learn that Trayvon Martin had traces of marijuana in his system that night. And George Zimmerman originally said on the 911 call that he (Martin) looked like he was on drugs or somethin’. I don’t know what more the defense could do to clear Zimmerman. He should walk unless the jury is biased.

I’m not a fan of lawyers or law suits but I hope George can sue for lawyer fees and mental distress.

I wish you had spent some time explaining the arguments about barring evidence. I understand the judge reversed an earlier decision, and will now allow testimony about the toxicology report (a big win for the defense).

Florida Judges are elected officials. Denial of a directed acquittal was a CYA moment from the bench.

I can’t believe even the prosecution in this case is not saying “We would like to drop the charges” at this point

Trayvon’s trip to the store to get “candy” and iced tea are being portrayed as an innocent outing, befitting the innocent little kid he’s been made out to be....when in reality, it is more likely the Skittles and fruity iced tea were ingredients to mix up some “drank” as it is called......here’s a recipe and there is more to be found if you Google “purple drank”.....

What the jury may or may not know is that Martin was a strapping, athletically-conditioned high school football player who had an ardent lust for fighting, even texting to a friend that he wanted a rematch with one opponent he’d already beaten because the guy “didn’t bleed enough for me, only his nose.”

I hadn’t seen this before. This should be before the jury in the interest of justice.

Martin had a history of violence, to the best of my knowledge Zimmerman does not.

The defense team has done a very good job. The trial was fixed from the beginning to enable the prosecution to get a conviction. The judge was on the side of the prosecution. The rules of evidence have been applied unfairly against the defense. The prosecution has been caught lying and concealing evidence. The defense witnesses particularly the parents have been allowed by the court to commit perjury. With all this it was almost certain that the prosecution would get a conviction. Now it appears not to be the case.

If the defense wins an acquittal in such a fixed environment it will be quite an accomplishment.

Nonetheless, despite the lack of evidence against the accused, rather than issue a judgment of acquittal last Friday, the judge punted the whole matter onward, and eventually toward the jury phase.

I don’t understand why they haven’t done a demonstration tape recording of Zimmerman screaming “help, help” just like during the event. They could play both and ask Traydmark’s mom which one was her son. The jury could hear that it was the same person. Is there a difficulty in re-creating the kind of screaming he made that night?
