Any baby boomer I know would literally put fingers in their ears and go “La la la laaaa”

Certainly not this boomer. The problem I am having is finding a place that will hire someone 60+.

Depending on your situation, it could be the perfect time to start your own small business. I expect a lot of people who would have retired at 65 ten years ago will become entrepreneurs and contractors well past that age in the years to come.

I turned 60 last month. Thank God I started my own business seventeen years ago. I've never had to wonder where I'm going to work since then, and I'll probably be at it at least another ten years.

I think my kids will probably fire me by that time ;-)
