That’s why we need to hold our nose and vote for the most conservative candidates - even RHINOs - to prevent Democrats from rubbing us out.

Common sense says that you’re right. I’m just tired of voting for someone because the other guy is worse.

It’s rather funny. We the Conservatives are sometimes called “reactionaries” by the Horrid Left. Yet, there’s no time in American history where the Constitution has been strictly adhered to by the government. It’s the Conservatives fighting for (man, do I now hate this word now) change. It’s the liberals who fight for the status quo no matter how badly it’s decaying.

We’re in a real pickle as a movement. There’s no denying that. I don’t know what to think, honestly.

‘they’ say rats might/could lose the senate. How? If the Pubs can’t win Conservative/T Party votes, how will the rats lose? If’n the pubs waver on the important issues and approve ...obumcare, illegal influx, among a few, I plan to avoid voting for any. Rather than vote for a known rat or another known rat, save the time and gas and stay home. My vote never counted for anything anyway.

Good luck, come Nov. there will only be 2 choices on most of the ballots. Any attempt to form a 3rd party will be mocked and laughed into oblivion by TV. (remember Ross Perot’s big ears?)

The only way to get rid of any of them is in a primary, since the 2 sides - dems/pubs - of the party have gerrymandered up the voters to preserve sharing the pie as best they can. They always go back to office in the general and the party tries to ensure they are uncontested in the primary.

the Republican party corrupts Tea Party candidates

All political parties are corrupted and corruptible candidates are their prey. All organizations, once institutionalized, will become corrupt. This includes unions, religions, and governments.

Not all Tea Party primary Candidates will win their primary race.
Not all Tea Party Candidates who win their primary race will win the general election.
Not all Tea Party Candidates who win the general election will withstand the opportunities for corruption their political party will offer.

The Conservative’s primary goal must be to locate and support candidates who display a sincere desire to honor the Constitution.

Ain’t nothing easy!

I am to that point too. If we get another McCain a la Christie or Rubio or Jeb Bush, I am sitting out consequencez be damned.

Rand Paul and Ted Cruz are about the only people I could see voting for at this point. Sarah Palin too......but I do not believe she will ever run.

The funny thing about this thread is the fact that no one is wrong. This problem is so large that it almost causes paralysis for the movement.

You’re a 1000% right. We shouldn’t become attached to these people. The moment they step out of line, we should primary them and send them packing. Unfortunately, it’s easier said than done with operatives like Tokyo Rove gumming up the works.

And they never will. They’re Trotskys to Obama’s Lenin.

I hear you and you’re right. The primary may be the only way to go for the foreseeable future. The problem is the paid operatives like Tokyo Rove who will stop at nothing to defeat Conservatives.

Like I stated in the article, I don’t know what to think. That’s why I consulted the largest Conservative think tank of them all— Free Republic.

I heard through the grapevine that he’s a 9/11 Truther and a Ron Paul nut. Still, he’s one of the sharpest legal minds around.

I’ve read some of his books. Great stuff.

It’s over, the 2 sides of the 1 party have the game pretty well rigged to keep them both in power. A peaceful secession ala the Soviet Union would be great but unlikely. The dividing lines are too muddled to divide up for one

I stopped donating to the RINO club a long time ago.

They still call, and they still write, but they have backstabbed us too many times for them ever to be trusted again.

Excellent OP and thread, Sir. Thank you.
