Also there are some on FR who do not realize the skater was making a video and had permission to do so AND they were in a skate park.
In no particular order:
Woman punches man with ferocity not often seen from even other men....do women ever have the “right” to hit a man? Is it unladylike to do so if not in self defense?
Man skates on a board in a park....is it a designated skate park or is he being an ass? Even with a video clear as crystal the debate rages ...
Man runs into kid at park....accidentally, but even so does the mother have a “right” to get upset?
And finally, for the coup de gras : White man harms black kid while black kid is celebrating his birthday ...again, accidentally, but does that matter when it’s “black vs white”?

Wow, some of the posts in this thread are really asinine. Regardless of what type of park it is. Once the little kid ran into the skater, what was the first instinct of the skater? He checked to make sure the child was ok, then the parental unit came out and did what? Eeked out and assaulted the skater. Did she try to attend to her child? Nope. Nice parenting.
Someone said they would have put the skater in the hospital. So your gut reaction would be same as this so called ghetto mother. Oh my kid running wild got accidentally hit by guy on skateboard so while he is checking on my kid ill chimp out on him. I bet youre a cop, or one of those neo-con patriotard vets.

Idiots. Accidents hapen and the.skater was concerned about the child, the mother was nowhere near the incident and showed ne concern for her kid, but like the good liberal republicans you are you dont assign accountability for anyones actions. You just lash out like morons to a hated sub group of citizens you dont like. Once again for the rio lindo citizens of free republic. The skater after the accident was helping the child, and was showing concern for its welfare. Unlike the mother you all are siding with.
That’s true as well, but he shouldn’t get physically attacked either, she had NO right to do that.
The only uncivilized, illegal, and immoral behavior in that video was that of the mother. If you think otherwise, you’re entitled to your wrong opinion.
So where is your proof that skating is banned there and if none, are you reacting on pure emotion? If not they what exactly?
Recorded the video and watched it a few times:
If it is a skateboard park, you’re going to have skaters there; however like any other “vehicle,” the driver is supposed to be in control at all times. It was an unfortunate accident, as the skateboarder was performing an airborne maneuver while the kid basically ran right into his path, so there’s not much he could really do to correct his trajectory. He seemed fairly contrite about the incident afterwards.
The documenter was using a fish-eye lens which made the area appear less congested than it probably was, however there was still a curious lack of people in the park at the time and a lot of open space. And it did take the “Mom” a good 20 to 25 seconds from the time of the collision to get to the scene, and she didn’t seem any too quick walking there — no excuse to slug the skater as he was apologizing. It was good to see a kind bystander step in to comfort the obviously frightened boy.
Apparently they have closed off circuits where they can practice and not in a public park.
People like this guy are a hazard to themselves and others.
It happened in Cannery Park in Hayward, California. It’s large complex that contains a skate plaza, basketball courts and other thing.
If you look on skateboard forums where they’ve discussed this they’ve posted some photos of the area and it certainly looks like this took place in the skate plaza.
If that is the case then I am wrong, and the woman had no business having her kid run loose there.
What part of skatepark do you keep missing? Is it willful blindness? Do you have proof the fufe skated in violation of a law? And do you think rollerskating should be banned from the board/beach walks in Cali/elsewhere too?
What other normal activities would you see liberalized...er banned?
I never offered proof nor claimed I had any. I’m stating my opinion based on observation and logic. I have NEVER seen a skate park with potted plants, gazebos, and trash cans in the middle of it. Maybe they do exist but I would doubt it because it wouldn’t make any sense.
So, instead of trying to prove the “liberal slant” in othersr posts when none is present, maybe you should try and comment on what was posted.
I was just going by the comments at the link....but you know how YT commenters are....who knows.
It does change things though if it’s true.
