Probably not many. That’s more a Sunni thing. The Alawites aren’t even high on the nutjob scale of the Shias.
He’s probably relaxed because if the US does launch an invasion (a few cruise missiles will have no effect), he has a nice vacation getaway in Iran waiting for him as we pour troops into a meat grinder.
Alawites follow the Twelver school of Shiite Islam who are waiting for the Imam Mahdi who they believe will conquer the whole world for Islam.
