It’s utterly mind boggling that the left has been able to wholly misrepresent President Eisenhower‘s farewell/so called “Military Industrial Complex” speech. The “MIC” portion was only an example of possible abuses of by a post WW II government vastly grown in scope and power.
In our age of AGW hysteria, it is interesting that one of his other rhetorical illustrations of possible abuse of our government was “The prospect of domination of the nation's scholars by Federal employment, project allocations, and the power of money is ever present and is gravely to be regarded.”

Either there IS NO MIC, or Obama is the HEAD of the MIC which makes 0 bummer FUBAR [eff'ed up beyond any (or all) repair]. No hope, no change. He may also be a KISS [keep it simple stupid] for dummies. Or he may be a BLUFF [bottom / subject line up front] which dummies hide, since it may contain the truth.
Old Sarge, the acronyms we had to deal with are endless in the DUmp. They probably think SOP stands for 'Same old p....' - forget it before I get banned or suspended.
