Originally, my wife was against homeschooling, but given the total ineptitude of our carefully selected school district (we moved to it no less) she eventually saw reason and we yanked our then two kids at 3 and 1st grade respectively.
Maybe some of my old posts helped change your mind. Even if it is not true, it is nice to think that maybe it is. :)
Funny, how fast the years go. Each one faster than the last.
I have often thought of going back and looking for the old threads, so I could tell posters the results of reading their posts. My kidos are doing so well. I have homeschooled for 13 years now.
Yes, 2000 is the exact time frame. I don’t remember posters names, but I remember discussions about John Galt, and freedom in education, and the scary topics of course, socialization, Home School Legal Defense League- were topics in general.
So hey thanks for posting, because it very well could have been you. :)
