(Metaphorically) Burning down that house to get rid of rats like Cornyn would be a worthwhile exercise.
I don’t think the Senator understands the threat to the republic posed by Obamacare.
And the idea that shutting down non-essential services for a brief period until Democrats thirst for the funds their allies receive from the public treasury overcomes them would amount to “burning down the house,” is specious.
No one but Reid and Obama have said they would shut down the government over this issue.

I didn’t see a quote in that blurb from Cornyn where he mentioned Obamacare.
Cruz isn’t advocating a government shut down, is he? Nope. And neither is the House. The House, as a matter of fact, is FUNDING the government fully with the one exception of the much-hated-by-most-Americans Obama’s Death Panel Law.
The ones advocating the shutdown are the Demon Rats.
In other words, I am willing to accept anything and everything the Democrats want.

Fine. Cruz has stated he will send piecemeal budgets one by one to the Senate. Take it or leave it.

Considering how much government spends that we don't have, on a daily basis, every day they aren't pi$$ing away a little more of my great grandkids' future is a blessing.
My bad. He is working with the house to proffer a plan to shut down obamacare. One by one the various departments will get funding as passed by the Senate from the House.
If Harry Reid chooses to not fund the departments one by one, he will be the villain. Obamacare is last on the list.
