Some say this girl will get off a train and be astonished that the death-camp isn’t the luxury resort the left promised her.

Was supposed to be “Some day...” but “Some say...” works too.

Exactly!...Having to pay triple the cost in premiums for health insurance and triple the deductable is a small price to pay for the damn idiots who wanted a whack left extremist in the White House!

With her high risk plan what would she have done had she got cancer or had a severe accident of some sort? She was rolling the dice with her “high risk high yield” plan.

The money she would pay in under ACA that she didn’t use would go to people suffering catastrophic a illness and/or accident. That is how insurance has always worked. What insurance hasn’t always paid for is the diddly stuff. Look how much car prices have sent up as warranties got better and better. People used to pay for repairs out of pocket - same with basic medical expenses.

I remember when our state government mandates that our insurance pay for chiropractors - how could have anyone expected the premiums to not go up? Government mandates HC insurance cover more and more, people expect that, well premiums are going to go up.

That’s exactly how it’s supposed to work. When you get the oil changed on your car, you don’t turn in the bill to your auto insurance carrier. It’s a routine cost. Pay it.

A perfect example of a low information voter.

In all honesty, The plan that they promised is not the same as the plan that they actually provided.

It was the old Bait and Switch.

Most of us understood that any plan that involves the government must enviably lead to bigger government, more taxes, less service, and corruption.

This may sound harsh but I wish every Dem voter to reap the painful rewards of their votes.

Wait until this girl does have a problem. She will discover the wonderful world of deductibles, and her copays will seem like chicken feed. Meanwhile, the other issue fascist healthcare brings to the table is higher healthcare expenses, so that even with her mandated insurance, she is going to be left holding bills higher than what she has now with no insurance. What will she do? Well, she’ll vote for Hillary. That’s the ticket. Then we can have the worst of Hillarycare built into the system, until fascist leftism damns everyone to healthcare hell.

In theory that is the way HC coverage works - even the coverage under ACA. The co-pays and deductible are the little things; The amount of premium you pay in that you don't use year by year covers catastrophic events. This young woman wasn't covered for any catastrophic illness or accident - that is kind of selfish and self-centered of her - especially for a loving kind hearted liberal!

anyone else catch that convoluted insurance mentality towards the end?...

“For 2400 a year, I would expect to receive all sorts of healthcare benefits that I currently don’t need”

Thats what makes it NOT INSURANCE!

I take it she hasn’t taken into account the $6k deductibles under ObamaCare yet.
