A great chart would be to graph the total tax bill paid by Americans as a percentage of income. All taxes and government fees including what is paid through backdoor ways.

Graph that back 150 years or so.

I've seen something like that. It was amazing - 75 years ago people paid something like 15% of their income TOTAL in taxes of all kinds. Today its around 50%.

When looked at it from that perspective the liberals claim that tax rates are historically low is ridiculous.
