‘Moderate’ muslims…a non-existent politically correct fabrication of the left
DC Clothesline ^ | 12/6/2013 | Diane Sori

Posted on 12/07/2013 6:41:36 AM PST by IbJensen

The sharia…soft jihad against the West stealthily creeping its way into the fabric of our American society with its repressive laws and lack of freedoms. The sharia…the antithesis of everything our Constitution and Bill of Rights expounds. The sharia brings to the forefront the question…are there really any moderate muslims?

My answer to that question is a simple NO.

Islam…the supposed ‘religion of peace’ is anything but for if one is a follower of islam one takes the words of the qur’an to heart as the words of god (little ‘g’ for allah is a false god and NOT the one true living God of we Christians and Jews), and lives those words as allah commands. And as allah commands means at least 109 verses that tell the followers of islam…the muslims…in NO uncertain terms to kill the infidels…meaning us…with few words…few verses that tolerate or accept non-believers.

The concepts of humiliation and denigration runs rampant within the qur’an’s verses leaving non-believers to either convert or die…it really does all boil down to that. So if one truly follows islam and the words of the qur’an one simply cannot be a ‘moderate’ muslim for moderate views do NOT call for the death of those who do NOT follow their ways.

The qur’an can be summed up in this one verse, Sura 9.5:“So when the sacred months have passed away, then slay the idolaters wherever you find them, and take them captive and besiege them and lie in wait for them in every ambush, then if they repent and keep up prayer and pay the poor-rate, leave their way free to them.”

In other words, convert or die…NOT moderation by any means.

And while some muslims in this country claim to be ‘secular’ or ‘moderate’ that concept is really non-existent for one cannot be secular and embrace Western culture and be a muslim embracing the qur’an’s words to kill the infidels at the same time. Western culture separates organized religion from matters of state, while islam is all about control over every aspect of one’s life…from how one conducts oneself in terms of one’s religious life to how one is adjudicated punishment if one breaks the law. And here is where the sharia comes in as more and more supposed ‘moderate’ muslim communities across the US are embracing said sharia as their governance of choice.

And how can ‘moderate’ muslims truly exist in any form when on 9/11 so-called ‘moderates’ were celebrating the deaths of 3000 Americans by dancing in the streets all across America. And those who did NOT outwardly celebrate remained silent in their condemnation of those that did. Silence can and does speak louder than words and in the so-called ‘moderate’s’ silence then…and their continuing silence now…that silence speaks of condoning for if one does NOT vocally condemn one does indeed condone. And even today when an act of jihad does occur those supposed ‘moderate’ voices still remain silent. The silence of ‘moderate’ voices over Benghazi and the Boston Marathon Bombing are but two cases in point, as it sadly seems that the only thing keeping those who call themselves ‘moderates’ from outwardly supporting the jihadis is fear, and the fact that they are but a small minority of the American populace.

And that mindset must be changed above all else for silence against the jihadis will forever cast those who call themselves ‘moderates’ as outsiders…and rightly so.

The muslim countries, specifically those in the Middle East, show NO signs of secularism nor any signs of moderation…as islam continues to wrap its tentacles around every miniscule detail of its followers lives until it figuratively and sometimes literally squeezes the very life out of one’s body.

Here in America the outward signs might NOT be so obvious to the casual observer as muslims might work alongside us…send their children to our schools…go shopping in our stores…dress somewhat like us (the hajib ‘head bag’ and burqa ‘garbage bag’ do rear their ugly head on more and more occasions it seems) yet even those who call themselves ‘moderates’ want special allowances made for them just to call attention to themselves. Using attention seeking as a way to promote islam…as in do every and anything including lying and living falsely (taqiyya) to promote and integrate islam into our society…to take over our society…the so-called ‘moderates’ are actually following the commands set down in the qur’an and therefore are NOT ‘moderates’ at all.

In muslim society, even muslim society here in America’s muslim communities, individual freedoms continue to get lost amongst both the arbitrarily adjudicated rules of the sharia and the strict commands of the qur’an, while the traditions and worship practices that define religiousness will continue to keep muslims living here from ever becoming true ‘moderates’ in any sense of the word that we view moderate anything as being.

American society…both culturally, religiously, and politically…must NEVER accept the false concept of a ‘moderate’ muslim let alone a ‘moderate’ muslim society until those who call themselves ‘moderates’ stand up en-masse and shout in loud and clear voices their condemnation of the jihadis…of the extremists…of the mullahs and imams who spread hate and perpetrate violence…and who then must shout in those same loud and clear voices their love for and allegiance to America…to our Constitution…and to America’s rules of law alone.

And so while Barack HUSSEIN Obama (I will NOT call him president) continues to claim that “the United States is a Muslim nation” we know the truth in that lie as well as we know the truth that a ‘moderate’ muslim is a non-existent, politically correct fabrication of the left and probably will always remain so.

If your stories about the U.A.E. are as accurate as your story about the bible shredding in Saudia, then you are full of condensed beans.

I never had any problem with it and yes I did transport my family’s personal scriptures (up to 6 sets) to and from Saudia over the years. If the Saudis think that you are bringing in bibles to proselyte, they will confiscate them and possibly deport you. But lashes? Extremely unlikely to happen. And DID not happen in 2012!!! Period. Even if the bibles were confiscated, the claim that they were destroyed by shredding is not verifiable by eye witness accounts.

I repeat, Christians have no problem getting scriptures over their for their own personal use. Lashing for having a quantity of bibles is NOT the punishment given to foreigners. Deportation is.

As far as the minister proselytizing in the UA.E. Is concerned, it is against their laws and the minister was not ignorant of it. While you might not like the law, it behooves you, as a guest, to respect such laws while residing in said country. Otherwise, how can you honestly expect them to respect our laws when they are over here?

As for rape, murders, etc., there are more in Chicago each year than in Saudia and probably more than in the U.A.E. too. Mote, meet beam.

If the Al Jouf incident is the same one I’m thinking of, then it was totally misrepresented in the western press. What actually happened was that the Muttawa raided a private religious observance of the sabbath held by Sudanese Christians and had them deported before they could be hauled before the sharia court where they would have had to be acquitted according to Saudi law. The Arab News made a big stink about this at the time.

But it is not illegal to celebrate Christmas in Saudia. You can’t buy Christmas ornaments around Christmas time and the Muttawa do try to crack down on the practice. But we bought our first artificial tree over there from a street vendor in Riyadh. We bought a better one the next year from Manama, where even the Muslims openly celebrate Christmas.

We even had Christmas lights festooning the outside of our villa (a common practice amongst Westerners over there BTW) with no problems.

I’m not saying that there are not any, problems, by any means, but the amount of misinformation I here back in the states about that area is absolutely astounding.

Then why are the moslemes pushing in the courts for sharia law and trying to make Edes a school holiday here?!!! Is Christmas a school holiday in Saudi?? What a piece of crap! -

Why are US public schools pushing all this moslem stuff on our children? Why can`t they teach Christianity in sausdi schools?

It has to be Christmas a holiday in saudi also if they want edes holiday here- and let lots of churches be built there in Saudi-- They build thousands of moques here in USA but no churches to be built in Saudi?!!

- Gimme a break-

They want it all their way and you know it too. ,p. This is BS and you know it. Their Saudi law there is RELIGIOUS LAW, not secular law-

It is secular law in the USA.

Theocracies rule by religio-political police forces and you know it.

We do not have religious police forces in USA. This as a bunch of crap, a one-way street that the moslems want, not a two way street and you know it.

They even want sharia law in UK- This is respecting other countries` laws???-

Gimme a break - it`s pure propaganda- and pure mosloem BS

Apples and oranges man. Also a lot of strawmen here.

You go to a country, you obey their laws, whether you agree with those laws or not. The fact that some extremists here break the law is no excuse.
Period.

The fact that they don’t observe Chrismas has NOTHING to do with the matter. They DO let others worship privately. As I and many many others can attest.

I’m afraid that you don’ understand how things work over there. For example, their religious police CANNOT arrest anybody for any infraction WHATSOEVER and haven’t had this ability for years. Only the regular police have this ability and they only do it when they are forced to go around with the Muttawa. But I can tell you that they hate doing it.

If a Muttawa tells you to do something and he doesn’t have a police escort, you can ignore them and there is nothing they can do about it. You can eve refuse (and should) refuse to get into a minivan of morality.

Saudia officially has about 200 murders in the entire country per year (the number is probably (higher). Rapes are rare enough that when one happens, it is major news over there.

How does that compare to Chicago?

FYI, sharia law , as practiced in Saudia, is a whole lot different than in other countries. And while the courts are run by the Imams, there is quite a body of secular laws having nothing to do with ANY religion in effect is Saudia.

As fare as wanting it all their way, I call B.S. On that one. Most Saudis don’t care one way or the other as to what religion you belong to, or what you do privately.

Believe it or not, there is no theocracy over there, at least in the accepted sense of the term. It is a very secular state. They don’t worship their rulers (though they are venerated). There is an amazingly high degree of freedom of speech (don’t dis the Koran, ask about their wives or show disdain for the country. That is pretty much it).

And they must be doing something right. Auto insurance was less than $400 per year for me. And this is in a country that has the world’s craziest drivers and one of the highest death rates by car. BTW, that rate covered the car. Which meant that whoever drove it was covered also.

There are 1 billion Muslims in the world. No one argues with that figure significantly.

So doesn’t the fact that we’re all not DEAD, prove that there must be at least SOME “moderate” Muslimes in the world?

I mean think about it for just a second: If all Muslims wanted to kill us as fervently as those in Al-Qaeda, don’t you think we’d be dead already?

And I’m not talking about what’s in their heart. Who can judge another man’s heart anyway; I certainly can’t since I’m not a mind reader.

I don’t care what’s in their heart as far as this question is concerned. What’s important here is what they DO, and I certainly believe if 1 BILLION people has as much blood lust as Muhammed Atta, then I’d certainly be dead already. As well as anyone else reading this in the West.

There are enough easily identified (by their own actions) evil Muslims in the world to keep us “busy” for the next 100 years. Let’s not go looking for more on some intellectual witch hunt.

I was going to do Business in Saudi last year on an invite, but I did not go. I was advised by the sheikh`s attorney that I could not even look at any female member of his household, since he invited me to stay in his house, or they would arrest me-
This is the truth.

And also a bunch of bull.. Someone is totally pulling your leg on this one.

There are women all over the place outside and in malls. If your story we’re true, they’d have to arrest every male in Saudia.

Admittedly not many, maybe a half dozen or so, although at least one of them, the wife of a local Sheik, I talked with many times many times in both private and public. She never went covered that I saw and she wasn’t the only one.

Although fairly rare, it wasn’t all that unusual to see Saudi women going around in public with only the head scarf and Abaya. No Hijab (veil).

Believe me, you’ve been misinformed on this issue. If you trespass into a women’s area, you can be arrested, but typically, they only kick you out

Also, in Bahrain, it is quite common to see Muslim women going around in western clothing. There is no segregation of the sexes there either.

There Christian churches there, at least one Jewish community center (and a Jewish cometary) as well as an assortment of Mosques. Also life didn’t stop during prayer time.

But Saudi Arabia and Bahrain are the only two Arabic states that I have any personal experience with.

Uh huh. The entire country of Bahrain consists of around 1,000,000 citizens.

While Islam is the dominant religion over there (at least, officially), there are plenty of other religions over there besides just Muslim and Catholic. A Muslim friend of mine estimated that ove 90% of current citizens are expats. There is a huge Hindi contingent over there too.

To be fair, I did not the Catholics had such a big presence. That can probably be put down directly to the Portugese occupation of the place a couple hundred years ago.
