Mandela was a product of the media, much like MLK and the present illegal occupant of the White Hut. Do a little research on Mandela’s life before he went to prison. Such a nice guy.

Poor guy. Mandela was approached while still in prison by the government of South Africa to secure his help in a political transition that wouldn't result in what happened to Zimbabwe. And you're in error to assume that what someone was like before a certain point in time is an infallible guide to what he must be after that point in time. There are many instances throughout history of changes in either direction that falsify your approach, though your use of the cutesy "White Hut" pretty much does that all on its own.

One who is in possession of a functioning brain has to admit that the transfer of power in South Africa to a gaggle of communist enthusiasts resulted in calamity.

What I find especially objectionable is that this 95-year-old is being treated as though he’s on a fast track to sainthood. Margaret Thatcher’s passing was barely mentioned in the MSM. This man was a communist terrorist thug in his early years. Whether he was repentant or not is beyond the point entirely. He gladly turned control of the government over to another communist.

I don’t intend for the term ‘White Hut’ to be anything than what it is: an indictment of the phony, anti-America scum that Barry Soetoro is. The White House needs to be renamed until his sorry arse is ejected.

I don’t know what side of the fence you’re on and I don’t care.

The only thing good one can give Mandela props for is that he could have become a Mugabe had he desired and kicked off a real genocidal campaign as seen in other African nations. Hoorah. Other than that he was a disaster and I’m glad he’s gone and have nothing but contempt for the man and his actions. I live in the USA but my extended family is in SA and I have been following the ANC’s actions since a teenager in the 80’s. SO he wanted to enjoy his golden years and corrupt gains in luxury and accolades the world heaped on him while he continued celebrating and encouraging all manner of vice and evil on all the people of South Africa. Just like Obama here in the USA has is followers to whom he can do know wrong Mandela is very much a cult of personality so there really is no discussing his actions.
