The MSM know that they promote mass shootings through their coverage... but, they think they can get gun control with it, and it makes them money, so they do it anyway.

We could start by ending the marxist manipulation of students.

Start redesigning the schools. There is no reason why electronic doors can't be installed at critical points to trap a shooter and cameras in the corridors. And they hire someone to watch the monitors.

At the school end, it's a tech solution.

In the killer spectrum...everyone of them had KNOWN mental problems....and therefore....every one of them should have never happened. We've failed our citizens.

No, you are wrong. Schools are already insanely expensive real estate. Solutions that you suggest would almost certainly cost 10’s of millions of dollars per life saved, maybe 100’s of millions of dollars, because that sort of solution simply DOES NOT WORK. Schools are too much like prisons already. Much better to decentralize as the fourth solution suggests, and billions cheaper as well.

“In the killer spectrum...everyone of them had KNOWN mental problems....and therefore....every one of them should have never happened. We’ve failed our citizens.”

The problem is that there may well be several million people that fit your description. We cannot lock all of them up. Fix the media making incentive for them to kill and you do not have to lock them up.

Third: Allow teachers and parents with concealed carry permits to protect their children in schools.

I don't have an issue with parents who are licensed to carry doing so while delivering, picking up or watching their kids.

As for teachers being able to carry, I'm not so sure. Students due to their close proximity on a daily basis will soon notice which teachers carry.

Abolish “school.” Problem solved.

(”School” is the longest-running hoax in human history.)

There would be some great benefits of the media not covering the news of mass shootings, the first is obvious in that it would prevent additional copy cat mass killings, but it would also eliminate the Anti Second Amendment assaults by the media and congressional Democrats that are committed after each mass shooting hits the media.

The no gun free zones concept is obvious and arming public school teachers would prevent further mass killings.

There was even a time in our history when students were allowed to take their guns to school and the schools were safer back then.

I think in Mansfield TX, near my old hometown of Arlington, they offered a free course for teachers and they were OVERWHELMED with those wanting to attend. Surprising since most teachers in TX I know are D’s, but yep, they were signing up by the hundreds!

State and federal laws are encouraging schools to treat (medicate) mentally disturbed children in a normal environment becuase it’s good for thier treatment, the hell with the normal children who are the majority. Anyone can see that in this environment the child with problems will become more isolated by choice and also by the taunting of other children who see them as different. The social engineering a##clowns are putting your children at risk to prove thier idiotic liberal progressive agenda

The social engineering going on in the schools these days is nothing short of psychological abuse. Kids are being taught that parents are bad and only official state authorities can care for them. The planet is being destroyed, anyone with a gun is probably a psychotic killer. Common core is designed to manipulate further.

You are right. This student had facebook postings and comments from other students saying he was a big socialism supporter and wanted equality. Of course he ended up trying to kill others he thought disagreed with him.

There is a fourth solution, but it is truly radical. I expect it will occur in time, because the economics are so overwhelmingly favorable: Decentralize the massive public schools system.

Well, yeah, sure, but commoners with education could become a problem.

1) Metal detectors upon entry 2) Armed guards assigned by local police, trained police officers 3) conceal carry for teachers and administrators

Solution #4 is the best choice. I’ve had battles in the past fighting to keep local schools from consolidating into mega schools. That takes kids out of communities where parents and neighbors keep an eye on them. In community schools there is more parent participation. Some of the greatest minds were educated in one room school houses.

There’s a long way between “decentralize” and “abolish.” I’m still for abolition.

Most schools accomplish little except to hold children back. In most cases, what schools accomplish is to prevent children’s even learning to read.
