“The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. A good understanding have those who do His commandments. His praise endures forever.” ( Psalm 111:10)

Without this wisdom, man is intellectually bankrupt. Before he knows how to live, one needs to know how to die.

It (liberalism) is a self-esteem project for mediocre elites....

AHHHH, dear Daniel, you crack the mind with your jack hammer insight.

This little piece clarifies liberalism as cult.

A cult worships itself. It is utterly self absorbed. It finds all knowledge from within its abysmal depths.

We must break the strangle hold of cult liberalism.

Yes, this is dead-on target...just listening to liberals talk to each other makes me crazy...they are all convinced of their own breathtaking superiority...which is breathtakingly delusional...

“WE’RE SMART AND WE’RE RIGHT. WE’RE RIGHT BECAUSE WE’RE SMART. WE’RE SMART BECAUSE WE’RE RIGHT.”

Sounds like a joke punch line from that obnoxious comic who became a senator.

I always enjoy Greenfield’s writing, but in this case I wish that he hadn’t assumed that everyone knows what a TED talk is.

“Intelligence to a modern liberal isn’t depth, it’s appearance.”

Just one of dozens of delightfully insightful comments.

This is an EXCELLENT piece elaborating on one of Rush-Bo’s fundamental principles of liberalism...”It's your intentions that count, not your actions or the results of your actions.”

Thank you Liberals. The world laughs at US.

Canadian’s Version of David Letterman’s Top 10. This is Canada ‘s Top Ten List of America ‘s Stupidity.
Of course we look like idiots … because we are …

10) Only in America ... could politicians talk about the greed of the rich at a $35,000.00 a plate campaign fund-raising event.

9) Only in America ... could people claim that the government still discriminates against black Americans when they have a black President, a black Attorney General and roughly 20% of the federal workforce is black while only 14% of the population is black. 40+% of all federal entitlements goes to black Americans – 3X the rate that go to whites, 5X the rate that go to Hispanics!

8) Only in America ... could they have had the two people most responsible for our tax code, Timothy Geithner (the head of the Treasury Department) and Charles Rangel (who once ran the Ways and Means Committee), BOTH turn out to be tax cheats who are in favor of higher taxes.

7) Only in America ... can they have terrorists kill people in the name of Allah and have the media primarily react by fretting that Muslims might be harmed by the backlash.

6) Only in America ... would they make people who want to legally become American citizens wait for years in their home countries and pay tens of thousands of dollars for the privilege, while they discuss letting anyone who sneaks into the country illegally just ‘magically’ become American citizens.

5) Only in America ... could the people who believe in balancing the budget and sticking by the country’s Constitution be thought of as “extremists.”

4) Only in America ... could you need to present a driver’s license to cash a check or buy alcohol, but not to vote.

3) Only in America ... could people demand the government investigate whether oil companies are gouging the public because the price of gas went up when the return on equity invested in a major U.S. oil company (Marathon Oil) is less than half of a company making tennis shoes (Nike).

2) Only in America ... could the government collect more tax dollars from the people than any nation in recorded history, still spend a Trillion dollars more than it has per year - for total spending of $7-Million PER MINUTE, and complain that it doesn’t have nearly enough money.

1) Only in America ... could the rich people - who pay 86% of all income taxes – be accused of not paying their “fair share” by people who don’t pay any income taxes at all

For a few years now, I have been conducting a private experiment with both acquaintances and family alike. I ask them to describe or tell me what they think of specific individuals, both public figures and those only known in our private circles. My theory seems to hold thus far; liberals will almost immediately describe others known to them to be also liberals as “smart” or “intelligent.” The contrary is true if the liberal knows the individual named is conservative or of unknown political leniency. Conservatives will almost always use character defining terms such as “responsible,” “trustworthy,” or their respective antonyms. Again, when known liberals or conservatives, however, conservatives tended to use describe those with undefined political tendencies the same way they described known conservatives. My unscientific conclusion is liberals value or place emphasis in intelligence or perceived intelligence, as noted in the article posted, while conservatives tend to value or place emphasis on character. And no, I am not a sociologist or political pinhead, my education is in the hard sciences.

Regards.

A prime example of the liberal fools this article describes is Dr. Jeffrey Sachs of Columbia University. He’s the fool who believes that he can end poverty in Africa simply by throwing money at the problem. When he started, he predicted he would end poverty in Africa in 5 years. Well, it’s been 5 years, hundreds of millions of dollars have been thrown at the problem, and almost nothing has changed. However, on the bright side, Sachs now is a friend of Bono and Angelina Jolie.
