You might be correct but the people I saw on that video have already taken the first steps and a ready for a change to the status quo. The Dems have done the hard part for us, by destroying their own credibility with these people by spending 50 years lying to them.
It is also a fact that if we don’t try we can’t succeed.
This is the time to bold and leave whatever disagreements in the past. I am talking about starting not just a new dialog, but rather, a new kind of dialog utilizing people who don’t BS but speak from the heart.
You must realize that it’s not just the message that must be different, the messenger too must be different and not be a typical pol. Thus they cannot be part of the GOPe being from the GOPe. My choices are all Tea Party people, Palin, Cruz, West, Love et al. Those choices are the most important part; once they actually meet our TP politicians they will understand another lie has been sold to them, this one about the TP, they will also realize, eventually, that the TP have the same goals as they do.
I believe the people who took the time to go there and speak are good people, after all if they did not care, they would not be there. Remember this also, we don’t have to convince everybody, just a few will do at first and then word of mouth takes over.

Where do they find the focus groups that think we suck less than the other guy is an inspiring message? Focus groups are useful, Ask Barone or especially Dick Morris, they are just not the be all - end all.
You miss the point. In fact the point really had nothing to do with focus groups. The point is that the typical GOPe candidate is a programmed candidate that does not speak from the heart, they just regurgitate the same BS talking points over and over again and we the people are sick of them.
