An LCD monitor puts out a fair amount of heat. (put your face over your TV and you'll see).
Plus it has a MB, HDD, power supply and memory all packed into a tight space. Heat dissipation has to be a concern. But I'm sure the Mfr. has designed for this. My statement was merely an observation of thermodynamics....not based on any actually experience with a unit such as this.
