I’d rather starve than support a halal place. Besides, I couldn’t eat the food there, being an Orthodox Jew. Fear not, we have LOTS of splendid kosher restaurants in Queens, Long Island and Brooklyn. Mmmmmm!

We have Muslims in some nearby cities (where the 9/11 hijackers hung out), but closer to home we’re inundated with South and Central American fast food places (that most Americans wouldn’t patronize - they are for the mass of Latinos that are making the area a “North Ecuador” of sorts).
