Down that column you could see various religions listed for other people..... religions such as Presbyterian, Lutherine, Methodist, etc, but Lincoln’s was listed as “Liberal”. He came from a Baptist family, he attended the Presbyterian church in Washington DC while President, he often quoted the Bible. From these facts how do they arrive at the word “Liberal”. The word Liberal does not denote a religious preference. It denotes a political leaning, I thought.
