Something to consider also:
Why is the door closed on the Lang picture of the plane?
Its wide open in the puentes vid.
The door is not closed. It’s open wide, but because of the angle of the photo, the sun, and the fact that the plane is sitting lower in the water you can’t see it easily. What you think is the window for the closed door is in fact the last window that shows to the left of the open door in the earlier image.
The door is wide open in both photographs. Look again,
The door is open, and casting a shadow diagonally across the top of the fuselage. You can even see the light area in the center of the shadow where sunlight is shining through the window in the door.
The door is not closed on the Lang photo. You can see there is a shadow from the opened door on the top of the plane from about 10:00 to 4:00. Underneath that shadow on the side of the plane is the opened door. To the left of that is a window.
