We cannot produce enough food. By the mid-1970s we will begin to see massive die-offs from starvation. It's settled science.

California is about one third desert. It’s not “drought” that is goofing up our food supply, it’s “protecting” the snail darter and other such species instead of humans.

Most of these homeless in the CA area, who are “unable to feed themselves” are really just alternative-type layabouts who have no desire to ever work for a living. Trust me. Every time a city in CA develops somw kind of giveaway program to help those poor, unfortunate souls, the vagrant network gets the word out and they all head for that city. Even San Francisco, the land of the deluded lefty nutbags, had to cancel some of their programs due to this phenomenon. When they started giving stuff away for free, suddenly they noticed that they had a whole lot more homeless. Incredible!

I remember when Knoxville, TN had a decent program for the homeless getting started.

Cities in South Carolina started giving one-way bus tickets to Knoxville for their homeless fresh out of jail.

Phhtttt!

Knoxville put the ixnay on that rapcay.

Fat people will replace blacks and homos as the object of the Left’s cruel bigotry. If you are fat, you will become second class citizens. This writer is actually hoping that crop failures will make the fat “gluttons” disappear. Perhaps some lawmaker will set things right and bring that Utopia where there are only beautiful people riding unicorns against the setting sun in fantasy land.

Even if it’s true that we waste 25%, which I doubt, Americans spend less on food than anyone else in the world, and less than anyone ever has in the history of the world.

See my tagline.

So, is the problem obesity or the eventual lack of food?

The author is trying to make an issue but has muddled things together, more for sensationalism than for facts.

Even now, more than 1/2 of the ‘fresh’ fruits and veggies I buy are from Honduras, Guatemala, Mexico, Brazil, Chile, Costa Rica, etc.

When they started paying people not to work and have babies they suddenly noticed they had a lot more non-workers and a lot more babies.

I use the food I don’t eat in my compost pile to use on my garden to grow more food than I can eat

In nature, no food is wasted because wherever you drop it, something will eat it.
Why is it considered waste if humans don't eat every single scrap of human food. It can be fed to animals, composted or burned.
We have an overproduction in order to have a safe margin.
Leftists want to take that away from us. They want Americans to starve.

We cut our waste tremendously by dropping the fresh veggies (unless it’s in season and something that we really want). Now we go with frozen. I’m not chopping and peeling away 1/3rd or not getting around to cooking it and tossing 100% in the garbage. We eat fresh salads a couple of times a week and some fruit and berries.

Much less money down the drain.

Do you get the feeling the author just despises Americans, and can’t wait to see them get hungry?
