My grandmother bought the Buick version of that car.
just about the best car I have ever driven in the snow but what a complete piece of JUNK.
Rust bucket lemon.
She actually had the car repainted after only a few years old and the rust came right through the new paint only a few months later.

I pretty much gave up on GM back in the late 70’s when their claim to quality was summed up by their “Rusty Jones” (dealer applied) rust preventative treatments... When your bodywork sucks so bad that your ad campaigns not only hilite but FEATURE your rust preventative attempts you’re doing something WRONG.

I remember good old Rusty Jones. I also remember rear quarter panels and floor boards disintegrating within 3 years. How about paint and clear coat that would just peel right off down to the primer (if the drunken uaw worker even bothered to apply primer). Great quality there GM.
