Yes, it’s true it is somewhat disappointing. The GOP has both Michigan houses and the Governor. But... the state went for Obama twice and is infested with union morons. That means a lot of RINO’s. So with those two givens it’s something of a miracle the Dems don’t run everything. I’m afraid as soon as people forget what an idiot Jennifer Granholm was it will probably happen.
I personally think we would be a lot better off with a part time legislature. When they’re there every day they feel that they have to legislate something.
