One was willing to stand up for his beliefs and ultimately prevailed. The other slithered away when faced with a controversy thereby making it easier for his foes to persecute others.

Brendan Eich didn't own the company. He was ousted by the Board.

And as aside, I wonder how Eich's contribution became public knowledge. Did the IRS out him?

A California judge ruled that contributions to the traditional marriage act had to be made public. The Gaystoppo keeps track of the contributors and their careers. They attack whenever they see an opportunity.

In Oregon, a couple will soon open a small store in Portland. The Gaystoppo searched their Facebook page, found some traditional marriage comments and stirred the pot, getting the Oregonian to "out" them and target them.

The new McCarthyism: "Do you NOW,. . . . or have you EVER . . supported traditional marriage?"

He resigned, I would have made them fire me for my religious beliefs.
