Have you used Windows 8 before?

I call it Windows h8t. Yes, I’ve used it. I would rather buy a MacBookPro for various reasons. And one of those reasons is to avoid that OS. Unfortunately I have yet to find the elusive money tree, and so I’ll have to deal with Win h8t. I plan to wipe everything including the bloat, and install Win. 7.

No, but I’ve looked at it and it doesn’t generate warm & fuzzy feelings.

I am in the same boat as the poster. I have two Dell XP desktops networked for me and the wife. We obviously need to upgrade.

I’m thinking about going Apple since we have to learn an operating system anyway with W8 or OS. I use an Iphone so it seems logical I go all Apple.

Problem is price and configurations. I need a desktop with a 4 & 1 printer which I’ll need to upgrade also. I’m thinking about a IMac with a 27” screen with an Apple notebook of some type.

I’d like some input as if that would work for two people who use their machines daily for personal and hobby bidness. I’ve never needed a laptop so I have no experience with them. Thanks in advance for your response.
