The Pink Swastika (a free ebook) explains the role of homosexuality in the Nazi movement very well. While it is true that a few effeminate homosexuals were targeted by the Nazi’s, the Nazi movement itself was led entirely by homosexuals and held a hyper-masculinized ideal of manhood.
Simply put, the Nazi movement was a homosexual movement.
Homosexuality is a deviancy that desensitizes people to the pain of others so that homosexuals are capable of atrocities that most people cannot comprehend.
Today the homosexual movement is destroying people’s careers and livelihood for any disagreement with them. But they will never be satisfied even when they are acting like the men of Sodom who wanted to break down the doors to gang rape the visitors of their city.
This is why the Old and New Testaments of the Bible both condemn homosexual acts as deserving the death penalty. This seems extreme to most of us, but when you see the long term destruction of lives due to tolerating this evil, it makes much more sense.

The NT points out that those practicing such things will not inherit the kingdom, along with those practicing a host of other sins. It does not recommend the death penalty for doing so. Those are two very different things.
In fact, I don't think the NT ever tries to prescribe the death penalty, imposed by a secular government, for any sin. Not that I can remember, anyway. The NT was written by men who were an itsy-bitsy and often persecuted minority in the empire. They, for fairly obvious reasons, don't seem to have thought it their duty to recommend laws to the rulers.
