/s. Well of course not. An evil firearm took possession of his mind and forced him to commit this heinous act. What other explanation could there possibly be? s/.

Hollywood had nothing to do with this. The killer was a delusional psychopath.
To: moneyrunner
No.
They were killed by an evil madman.

Gotta love the liberal society, where its never the fault of the perp, its always someone elses fault..the gun, the knife, the booze, the car, the drugs..never the fault of the PERSON..I have yet to hear anyone in the media actually say Elliot Rodger is responsible for what he did..that would take actual common sense

“In other times and other places, people like Elliot Rodger may have become a hermit, a priest or found another objective.”
So one becomes a priest because one cannot get laid? Damn. What kind of warped mind does this writer have? Looks to me like the blind leading the blind.

Has anyone looked into the possibility that he may have been a closeted homosexual?

How are you any different from those who blame the gun? You blame something not just inanimate, but conceptual.

Of course he was a homo, I could smell the gaydar a mile away..I think one of the things that gave it away was him making a citizens arrest for 3 “stolen” candles worth 22 bucks by supposedly, his roommate..tell me, what straight guy makes such a fuss about 3 candles

As long as there are those who are going to blame evertyhing-but-the-perp, he wanted to get in on the action. Not sure how serious he was, I kinda read it as a big "well if you can claim that, I can claim this..". I do that sometimes in my discussions with liberals.

For some strange reason, the knife was able to overpower the perp at his apartment and go on a killing spree of its own.

There is no question the killer was a nut, but a nut with a particular sexual obsession. He lived in a culture where sexual failure is despised. You may disagree but something made him the kind of nut he was.

In today’s society anyone who can’t get someone, or something, to have sex with is hard to imagine.

There are several things that people who want to sublimate sexual urges can do. Taking a vow of celibacy is one. That means you don't have to get laid to get respect. I read his entire manifesto and getting laid meant getting respect.
