If they sell all of the 2 and 3 and 5 year old stuff, there won’t be any 7 and 10 and 12 year old.
That’s easy, the stuff they intend to sell at 7, 10 and 12 isn’t the stuff they didn’t sell at 2, 3 and 5. They set the barrels aside for the various times they intend to open them. There’s a lot of long term planning and self control in the whiskey business, clearly not something I’m cut out for.
