I think the three major ‘POW/MIA Biker’ groups out there ought to have whatever people that run their websites (while they’re evidently out riding around on their motorcycles and not paying the slightest attention to the news) log on and delete their “Welcome Home Hero Bowe Bergdahl!” pages because they’re looking like quite the jackasses for supporting this traitor fink.
That’s just my opinion. Maybe they don’t care a whit about Bergdahl’s circumstances as long as they can pretend he’s a POW and use him as an excuse to ride around on their Harleys going vroom vroom vroom and waving the American flag like it belongs to their organization alone.
This won’t last. Just as the controversy about Bergdahl’s release was timed to push the VA off the front pages, the next “crisis” will take center stage.
The Bergdahl matter will be a distant speck of a memory in two weeks. Nothing will come of it after the requisite week of rhetorical clucking winds down.
