At some point, it became USA law that we adopt the metric system. There were plenty of objections. Statements like Walk a mile in my shoes would go out the window.
You can’t redefine everything. Sexual orienation, we are told, is fixed and set at birth, and unchangable as granite. Gender, however, is nebulous and ill-defined, and easily changable.
I believe it started well over a century ago when Marx and Engels redefined what an economy is. You’d think such a wholesale failure would have made redefinition unpopular but the left side of the world engaged in a massive game of “Let’s Pretend” so the trend persisted.
Some chick in college can bring a guy home to her apartment, get drunk, strip naked, share a bed and pass out, but if the guy awakens before she does, is too drunk to remember where he is and sees an attractive naked chick in the same bed with her legs spread wide open and does what most stupid young drunk guys would do in the same situation, she can cry rape as if it is the equivalent of some dirtbag grabbing an innocent girl on a dark street and dragging her into the alley.
And any politician who actually points out this difference will suffer the same fate as Todd Aiken.
Exactly! If, in a matter of years, we allow the po-mo homos to redefine an institution that has stood for millennia, then we have forsaken any sense of cumtural continuity and have abolished the notion that a society is defined by its morals. Dissolving those common bonds of sensible tradition mean turning a united people into rabble.
THAT and nothing else is the goal of the pro-homos.
