Too many freepers do not understand the significance of history. 1947 Saudi Arabia wanted the US to protect them as British power wanes. How we inadvertently helped the EU di8smantle Yugoslavia, played the role in the rise of Putin Russia and the Ukraine crisis of today and the final straw that broke Chinese US good will and ended up creating an alliance between Russia and China (largest land mass and largest population) at a time we are at war with the Islamic world (another 1.1 billion people).
