Reality TV show star Bristol Palin is asking conservatives to celebrate the Supreme Court's landmark contraception mandate decision by participating in a Hobby Lobby Love Day this Thursday.
Shortly after the high court handed down its decision affirming the family-owned company's right to abstain from an Obamacare mandate that violates its religious beliefs, Palin called on her fans to support the Christian craft store by making a special trip to the store on July 3.
'The Supreme Court says that Obama can’t force Hobby Lobby to provide “contraception” that cause abortions. Way to go, Hobby Lobby!!' Palin said in a blog post announcing the nationwide effort.
'We should all go to Hobby Lobby and buy something to celebrate.'
Bristol Palin, pictured here with her son Tripp in a selfie posted to her Facebook account in April, is calling on fellow conservatives to shop at Hobby Lobby on Thursday to show their support for the Christian craft store.
Yesterday the court ruled that Hobby Lobby and other 'closely-held' businesses with religious ties were eligible for exemption from a provision of the health care law that requires companies to provide their employees with health plans that cover 'preventative services' for women....

The misnamed one is an aggressive atheist, terribly annoyed at this court decision, and to hear the Christian Palin’s brought into it through the pro-life spokeswoman, Bristol Palin, is a little more than she can handle as she is having her cocktails.

The operative word in your missive is “child” because that is what Bristol was when she became pregnant with her boyfriend. That is something that happens thousands of times a month in this country. Holding her to a higher standard than the teenagers in your neck-of-the-woods is laughable.

Someone on here mentioned Monica Lewinsky, making a comparison, and I think that’s pretty fair. Bristol is the Monica in this story. The difference is, she brought down a far better person than Monica did.

You don't have to be perfect to avoid getting knocked up. After all, I didn't get knocked up and you are all briskly telling me how awful I am. Well, even awful old me managed to never shame my family. But this girl? And did she retire modestly from public eye afterward? You are a pro-choice atheist with no moral compass. You spew your venom in judgement of someone who has obviously not lived as perfect a life as you have.
Having birth control would not have made her sin any less sinful. You seem to be implying that you would be in perfect agreement if she had aborted Tripp, just as long as that meant she didn’t bring unwanted attention to her family and “brought down” her mother’s political career.
